Elsie Bambridge was a British woman who lived between 1902 and 1976. She was the second wife of George Eastman, the founder of Eastman Kodak Company. Bambridge was born in England and was educated at the University of Oxford. She was a keen horse rider and participated in several equestrian events. After her marriage to Eastman, Bambridge became involved in philanthropic activities, particularly in supporting the arts and education. She founded the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York, and also donated funds for the construction of the George Eastman Theatre. Bambridge was also a prominent figure in the social scene of her time and hosted several events at her home in the UK and the US.
